Various types of breast surgery and reconstruction and liposuction Breast reconstruction is considered if the breast has not developed, there has been extensive trauma, or most commonly, after mastectomy for breast carcinoma.

Breast augmentation enhances the size and shape of a woman’s breasts commonly for the purposes of:
-Enlarging breast size for women that feel their breasts are too small
-Balancing out uneven breast sizes
-Correcting breast reduction after significant weight loss or pregnancy
-Reconstructive procedures

singapore plastic surgery Breast enhancement is an outpatient procedure that is usually performed under a general anesthesia. The plastic surgeon makes an incision and create a "pocket," or space within your breast tissues, for the breast implant. The breast implant will be placed in the pocket, filled, and positioned. A breast augmentation is performed with a saline filled implant with a silicone shell that is placed under the breast, which enhances the breast size. Then the incision will be closed, usually with stitches, and possibly taped. Earlier silicone gel-filled implants were used for breast augmentation, but the FDA restricted this type of implant in the 90s to perform further studies on the safety.
